Mikko Nyman is the CEO of Fastems, a globally leading provider of intelligent factory automation solutions for metalworking manufacturers. Under his leadership, Fastems is evolving from an automation supplier into a productivity partner - leveraging the latest digital technologies to help customers achieve measurable performance gains on the shop floor and beyond.

Mr. Nyman joined Fastems in 2014, serving first as CFO and subsequently as Head of the FMS Business, before assuming the role of CEO in 2019. His mission is to help metalworking companies build sustainable competitive advantage in rapidly changing markets - through automation, digitalisation, and a deeper partnership model that goes beyond technology delivery.

Prior to Fastems, he held several senior finance and operations roles at Sandvik, one of the world's leading engineering groups. Mr. Nyman holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Tampere, Finland.

His areas of expertise include strategic and financial leadership, international business development, and a decade of hands-on experience improving manufacturing productivity and competitiveness through automation and digitalisation.
